I have never been to Iran and hence wont try to judge the authenticity of the society portrayed in the Apple series. But the structure of the plot and the characterization has obvious flaws. The characters are shown too much in black n white. Rebels and conservatives both are quite unidimensional. Instead of creating a common platform for both ideologies, the story drives them apart and celebrates the contrast! The subtlety of the middle ground where the characters would meddle with each other could have given more meaning to this story.

A nice movie with some brilliant performances!
