Don't waste your time. And yes, this movie is exactly that. A waste of your time. It could lose 75% of the cuts and you would get the exact same experience. The concept is interesting and maybe if it were a different director it could actually work, but it's so boring and pretentious that you'll just be disdainful and irritated that you've spent so much time waiting for a payoff that never happens. Please watch something else.

EA really needs to understand that long term strategy should overrule short term strategy. Jesus, it is so bad.

It's one of those "it's so bad it's good" movies, but it's just soooo soooo bad that I can't even pool it in that category. I feel horrible for all of the high profile actors pulled into this scat sandwich. You can tell the over-emoting and over-acting is due to bad directing. If we could see the unused takes I'm sure we'd find some that pass as moderately human, but unfortunately they've been canned and instead we have this result of director hyper-ego and zero content. The script is horrible. The actors are forced into this 50s era style of awkward interaction that if you see it you'd understand. But please don't see it. MNS has been riding this wave of false genius ever since that one lonely gem we got suckered into. This "genius" is a one-trick pony. It's an incredibly awesome and breathtaking trick, but it's the only one worth watching. If you want to disagree, please watch The Happening. It's a joke with no punchline. You cannot take it seriously.
