I couldn't believe it. I was really looking forward to watching this movie, especially because I absolutely loved the first one. However, the constant singing threw me off. It turned out to be a musical that dragged on and never reached its peak. I ended up leaving three-quarters of the way through. I have to say, Joaquin Phoenix's acting was excellent, but turning this into a musical was a big mistake.
