Definitely recommend for general public! There were some parts that went above my head, but it is just because I have no background in finance or economy. But even for me most of the book was easy to grasp and captivating my attention. I love the Big History (when history is told across many fields of study) and this book has similar approach, describing the development of money through history, politics, economics, technology, etc. I’d say that I now know and understand more about how my money works and have a few peculiar stories in this topic to share with friends at random.
