Overkill on the singing. Try-hard movie on "female empowerment" when other movies have done it way better and for years before this.

Movie effects in this movie were one of the best for its time. It's a classic horror film with stop motion animation. The concept was also really good: (Spoiler alert after this point) a master puppeteer discovered the secret to bringing life to inanimate objects kills himself to protect his secrets leaving behind his beloved puppets that try to save his life. A colleague from a team of psychics commits suicide after discovering the mater puppeteer's secret and the puppets, bringing them to investigate his death only to find themselves being stalked by the same puppets. It's a nice simple but dark twist to a puppeteer. The beginning is just funny and doesn't make sense as to how busy everyone is to notice a walking put toy, but it's a very memorable scene because of how well it's shot.
