Evensong Modesto

I thought that this movie excellent. The directing innovative and original. The music was startling and and matched each scene. The script itself was outstanding. The scene where he transports his mother to the scene where he spends the last few moments with the dying detective to the scene of his mother's curling hair in the currents. All original and very engrossing. Joaquin's performance as the hulking, mad righter of wrongs was so incredibly believable. As you can tell I liked this movie.....alot.

I can't understand the negative reviews. I feel that it was a delightful, thoughtful, very well acted, imaginative movie. One of the very few movies I enjoy watching over and over. The only other one I can think of off hand is "Only Lovers, Left Alive."
