Complete rubbish but I enjoyed it! Admittedly, no one else ever watches the films I recommend - clearly, they have more sense. Another movie that Nic Cage has made solely for the money - but is anyone really that desperate? Was his silence throughout the film a reflection of how little he was being paid? At least the complete lack of dialogue on his part helped mask his usually stilted and unconvincing delivery. Towards the end I found it difficult to distinguish between Nic Cage and the evil puppets - in truth, maybe he was an automation - it would explain a lot, not just in this movie but in most of his back catalogue. Enjoyable trash to watch whilst having a late night curry!
