as someone who’s parents don’t accept them, some of the scenes of the show made me sob. it’s absolutely beautiful. the diversity in the cast is incredible. I think this is the first show I have ever watched that made me feel truly seen. it gives me so much hope to see people like me on the screen. The casting is beautifully done, it doesn’t feel like watching a bunch of 26 year olds supposed to be a high school. It feels real, authentic, and heartbreakingly adorable. i pray for more shows like this in the future.
