I want to start off by saying I love not only the guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show but the things her team and producers do to make it inclusive to all walks of life. Like when they had someone who was deaf on the air. The producers made sure to include an ASL interpreter for the whole show. I think guests and that attention to detail help this show rate much higher than it should. Kelly quite franky is annoying, feels disingenuous, and over-talks her guest all the time. It feels like she is rushing the whole show along. The fun atmosphere she tries to convey comes off as feeling fake and forced. I think she should take a look at some other talk shows, like the Jennifer Hudson show and today with Jenna and Hoda to take some inspiration on how to interact with guest and come off more genuine.
