WHATS HORROR ?

This movie was amazing. You have everything you want in a horror anthology film, comedy, suspense, horror, and the best part, John Carpenter himself plays a character (he's the best part of the movie). Even Wes Craven himself makes a cameo in the first story. It was amazing, and while I keep saying that there was a problem with it, the stories themselves. While that seems like it's a big part of it there only one little problem in them, the first story is great, the third story is...strange, but great. The second story is kinda a little messy but that's probably just because I had an idea for it I thought would be better. If that makes you question watching this movie I can't suggest it enough. The little bits with John Carpenter are amazingly funnier than I thought they would be. Plus, it has a Wes Craven appearance, that's a nice touch. Anyway, I do say, don't immediately go out searching for it and going through a bunch of trouble, this is more of a movie you watch to have in the background at a party or when your bored and you just want some good scares and laughs.

although this movie has its cons its pros make up for that and make it better. And it also has fudging Tim Curry in it whose role is amazing. it does reenact some of the same scenes as the original but kinda in its own way-ish. its originality is nice and the traps for the criminals it painfully funny. some of them are...more unrealistic than every and multiple times the criminals would've died in real life. it also has a "special" appearance by Donald Trump which I was not ready for. but Tim Curry working at a hotel is pretty funny and its got lots of good original jokes since it's in a new place. I give this movie four stars only because of some of the scenes its copied and also other things I don't wanna mention because it would ruin the movie for you but I do think this is a good movie and you should definitely see it, but see the first one first.

while I loved this movie it isn't what I expected it to be. I expected it to be a camping massacre and while it is like that it isn't as exciting and some scenes are drawn out and aren't as entertaining as they could be. this is still a great movie but don't go into it expecting Jason to be hacking and slashing campers. in fact, (spoiler) Jason isn't even in here for almost the whole movie until the end. while it is not the fun movie I expected it to be it was still a great movie and I highly suggest watching it still.
