Much has been made about this show based on identity politics, however my review is not based on that. + Overall production values quite good + choreography was good - bad script - telegraphed obvious story telling - wooden acting - laughable contradictions A paint by numbers story with forgettable characters executed badly.

This is a movie I keep coming back to. I find it has a misty, dark undertone to counterbalance the honour, chivalry and ideals of the knights. I love the use of the old gods and the new, the beautiful sets such as old carved stones etc. There's something simply special about this film. It's like metaphorical & dream-like. Symbolism.. Yes.. That's it.. Everything that happens is symbolic.

Chris Pine brings a certain amount of depth to the role and conveys outer and inner pain well. He reminds me somewhat of Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese - Terminator) who can being a softer element to a film but still be tough. It was not the film I was expecting and enjoyed the preamble to the inevitable us/euro Bourne-eque action.
