We're into the new season and I have fallen more in love with this show than ever before...just from episode 1!! I understand other shows wanting to provide an escape for us during this difficult time in our world. However, what I appreciate already about Season 5 of this show is how relatable it is. There is something to be said for showing the raw truth of today's social unrest, global pandemic, and functional/dysfunctional dynamics of family, amongst other topics. And it is shown in such a real and poetic way! I thought I missed this show, but I realized just how much during its season premiere. If anyone is wondering whether or not they should dive in to this show....you should! And it WILL NOT be regretted!!
