Let me start by saying I love the animated version of Aladdin by Disney, along with the cartoon series. I also love Guy Richie movies especially Snatch being my favorite of all his movies. That being said, I’m a huge Will Smith Fan as well!! Yet, why he agreed to butcher this tale of tales is beyond me. Ok I get it, he didn’t write the script. Yet why they casted him for this role, I have no clue!! I know he didn’t want to bite off robin williams but the script was the exact same. He does not have the comedic background to step into robin williams role. They should have casted Jim Carey or basically any other comedian in the world. I hate it and I’m embarrassed for will smith and his family. But I’m still a will smith fan along with Aladdin. Don’t buy this movie wait till it’s on cable for free!!
