After seeing this play advertised in the Metro newspaper a while ago, I thought to myself, "I have got to see this" as I am a fan of supernatural stories/movies etc. So I did, yesterday evening with my family.
In my opinion, I thought it was good and entertaining and didn't disappoint me.
I read the reviews beforehand and knew there was a twist of some kind so I was expecting this, but did NOT expect to end the way I expected it to end.
I did not know who the main actors were in this play nor have I heard of them before until now but I thought they delivered a fantastic act. (Kind of glad we missed it when one of the characters was played by Cheryl Cole because we might've had a bit of difficulty understanding her accent - no offence to her!).
The 'Husband' character was rather annoying in my opinion but then I felt sorry for him in the end.
The play was quite boring to begin with, however it gradually became more interesting and intense as the story unfolded.
Sounds and lighting effects did make me jump off my seat a couple of times (but not as much as the two ladies in front of us who screamed a lot!)
Overall, we enjoyed the show and had a great night out. It was spooky enough but it wasn't as spooky as watching The Woman in Black.
