There’s only a loose connection between the ancient American culture, anthropological artifacts, evil doctor’s plans, psychic phenomena and the monsters. The scrolling stars wars type intro was a vague answer but given before it was meaningful. Mediocre acting and poor directing make it worse.

A little slow start, then very powerful

Characters poorly developed, not much of a twist. Not particularly credible

Dull, overacting , predictable rehash of the first two. A couple of touching moments but several others just seemed an overreach.
