Watched Dhamaka. It's happy to see that Kartik is taking roles out of his comfort zone.
So, it's a remake of South Korean movie 'The Terror Live' and is directed by Ram Madhvani (Neerja and Aarya director).
This is a great attempt by Madhvani and almost matches the standards of the original film. The voice claiming to be Raghubeer Mhata (Soham Majumdar) was as good as original one and sometimes even better. The deputy of minister fails to impress and falls flat when compared to original one.
Coming to main characters, Kartik aryan has done a commendable job. His acting sometimes becomes overacting but it does not ruin or even affect the movie. Amruta Subhash has done perfect acting as a TRP hungry boss. Mrunal has a short role but seems to be fit.
BGM is great and creates tensions required in the movie. The 'Khoya Paya' song at the end has a great impact.
Kudos to Ram Madhvani for doing justice to the original movie. Direction is top notch and there are some improvisation. Cinematography is great. VFX is okay. Not very impressive but also not like those in the cartoon.
Overall a great thriller. Probably the best in Kartik's career.
