The reveals in this will continue to knock you off your feet. Getting Monty's POV was absolute perfection. While the first book was filled with complete devastation, this book picks up all the shattered pieces and starts to put them together. We get an ounce of hope as Frankie, Leo, and Kodi grow, evolve, and survive on their own. With the addition of Monty's POV, our world expands a bit outside of Hoss as he desperately searches for Frankie. We delve a bit into Denver's history and get to learn his dark origin. I know I said this in my review for book 1, but Denver Strahk is easily the most vile character I have ever read. His continual torment of our characters knows no bounds as we get yet another harrowing cliffhanger. I am waiting on pins and needles for the third and final book in this series. I need resolution.
