As a parent, I appreciate this show. From a childs perspective, Simon is a true 5 year old kid. Hes not perfect, neither are his friends. But as the episodes progress you see how Simon is able to solve his own problems. The adults chose to coach & redirect the children, instead of punishing or dismissing them. Very effective!
