Trite, scripted, run-of-the-mill action flick at best. Corny and unbelievable action scenes. Marion could have been a true vigilante, but they made her the important by proxy through the men she partnered up with. Robin Hood learned how to take down 100’s of men single handedly because John trained him for a couple weeks in an amateur boot camp. Poor character development caused me to not have any empathy, really, for any of the characters.

Characters are arrogant, emotionally-stunted, and shallow. Very depressing little world they live in. Please give the character of Cassie a little humility and let her screw up just once! Is she God, doling out her perfect advice to every “screwed up” character in town? On that note, the worst tragedies in people’s lives are they got a pimple. What’s up with the narcissist doctor? Of course they have to pair him up with Cassie-alpha male and female. Barf. Is this a kids show or a poorly written soap opera for millennials?

The characters, friendships. And romantic relationships aren’t even the slightest bit believable. At least you could counter boring and predictable plot lines with humor or wit, but this show offers neither. You’ll enjoy this show if you go into it not expecting much more than a Hallmark movie.
