So many, many things about this film make it clear that someone did not do a hint of research before they started writing the script.
Wolves are typically larger than that, and wolves hunt in packs. Rabbits don't just run forever in fields and forests, they live in burrows underground, and would run to the burrow if being hunted. Rattlesnakes do not stand up like cobras. Why is a nocturnal lion walking into a village full of people, and dragging off a grown man in broad daylight? Especially where there is clearly easier prey around, outside of the village. Not even the Predator's behavior makes any sense, canonically. Why is it naked?? Hundreds of years beyond us in technology, complete with spaceships, and you expect your audience to believe that the Predator would be running around in a loincloth, and not a full suit of armor??
The casting is great. It's clear they made an effort to include indigenous voices in a film about indigenous people, but that's about the ONLY thing this movie has going for it.
