Exactly what I was expecting. Not disappointed. Shooty gun game from the ps2 era when I was teenager. *Chefs kiss* A simple shooty shoot game to relax to. Racking up that beat counter is super fun.

I don't usually review games on here, but I played New Colossus and this game side by side. I liked New Colossus more because I'm still into the single-player style classic shooter style, buuuutt Young Blood was a very fun experience with a buddy of mine. As a coop game with a friend, I can see and understand the changes that were made. My friend prefers some RPG elements to his shooters and I did enjoy some of the looting and upgrades the game added. That being said. If you view the game as a spin-off of the Wolfenstein series that is geared for coop play only, then it is a very fun experience. Taking out Nazis in the 80s with my longtime buddy was a great experience to have. I don't think this game doomed the series. The overwhelmingly negative reviews I think are unjustified. Great graphics, amazing gunplay, and wrecking evil new-age nazis. The good parts are there if you share them with a buddy.
