This series is one of the best South Korean series I have ever watched. It is a thrilling show filled with intense violence and hundreds of brutal deaths. The story revolves around players who are forced to participate in deadly games for the entertainment of a mysterious game master and wealthy patrons. Many of them are desperate for money due to financial struggles, such as heavy debt, unemployment, and medical emergencies. Because of this, they are willing to risk their lives for the grand prize, leading to betrayal and violence among the players. Despite the brutality, the series is deeply emotional from Season 1 to Season 2. It explores human struggles, survival, and the desperation to escape difficult circumstances. I didn’t expect it to be so intense and moving, but after finishing the series, I couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks. The characters are well-developed, making it easy to connect with their stories and emotions. The production team did an amazing job, and their effort is clearly visible on screen. The set design is both impressive and haunting, especially the colorful staircase, which looks like a modern piece of art. As a fan of thriller shows, I was on the edge of my seat in every episode. My favorite episode so far is Season 1, Episode 6. The acting was incredible, and it made me cry three times even when rewatching it. The music was also remarkable—it created a perfect balance between fear and calmness, making the scenes even more impactful. Overall, Squid Game is one of my favorite Netflix series and I can't wait for Season 3! I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys thriller and survival shows.
