Decent production but if you're a historian it'll drive you crazy. They're weren't nearly as many black people in the upper echelons of the British Empire. And a black Queen Charlotte? Lol! Ok. It's quite silly in my opinion. But, it is fiction after all. I didn't care for it. It has "Social Justice" written all over it. Such a distraction.

This is NOT one of the best shows on Netflix! It could have been a good but that kid's character is very annoying. Chowder comes to mind. Look it up. To me it seems his powers are developing to fast. Everything else is gets a barely passing grade.The casting choice for Dion is ruining it for me. This is not like Stranger Things. I don't know why people keep making that comparison. It's not great just because it's about black people. I'm getting the feeling that some comments are leaning that way. I'm thinking they're lucky if they get 2 seasons. Make a casting change for season 2. Maybe a 10 year old Dion. Lose the other kid.
