That Nebraska accent was impenetrable in parts over here in the UK and took the edge off a creepy tale that still had me mostly riveted. The main characters were predictably doomed as soon as they hatched that evil plan and got their just desserts.

Loved the mayhem, the silliness, and the Aniston - Sandler mix which is always a delight. Even the story line held together. For a daft Friday night in its a winning combination.

Amazing depiction of hell. One of the great war films.

Dreadful. Thriller? No. Endlessly painful with no apparent explanation for the main character’s destructive impulses. Mostly incomprehensible dialogue, motive, and plot. Tiresome and terribly slow movie with an unlikely and ridiculous ending. Don’t bother.
