Rob Lowe is great. The writing is pandering drivel. Finally a trans firefighter... (played by a straight actor) so woke, it's not woke. Also, we know that it takes place in Texas, but in case we forget they shove it down our throats with cheap accents, desert scenes and line-dancing.

Let's be honest, we're only watching the show because there's not enough Rick and Morty to appease our appetites. It feels way too similar, although the comedy may be different, it's obviously from the same creator. I got through the whole first episode without even laughing, and realize that it just made me crave Ricky and Morty.
