I recently watched Conjuring: The Last Rites and, honestly, it was a huge disappointment. I went in with high expectations, being really excited for the next installment of the Conjuring universe. But the movie turned out to be a complete letdown.
The first half was extremely slow — I kept waiting patiently for a proper jumpscare or at least a gripping storyline, but nothing worthwhile came. The suspense felt forced, and the horror element was almost missing. Instead of building tension like the earlier Conjuring films, this one dragged on without delivering anything impactful.
By the time it reached the end, it just felt like a waste of money and time. There was no strong storyline, no memorable scares, and nothing that justified the hype. For a franchise known for its chilling atmosphere and spine-tingling moments, this movie failed miserably to live up to its name.
Overall, The Last Rites was a flop for me — totally not worth the excitement or the ticket.
