Good narrative. However the mother’s illness is not explained. How did she end up living with Solomon again after her departure? What happened to Ekah when she went to the forest? How did she overcome the awful act she was about to do? Too many unknowns. It seems Mahala’s story is somehow borrowed by the writers. We are not told which Country the ending is. Also the title is misleading. One will think it were the Fisherman’s story being told, however, it is rather Ekah’s story that is being told.
