I enjoyed the simplicity of this heartwarming story. J.T. gave a solid performance. This movie pulled at my heartstrings. I personally have known kids in this situation that were taken away from people who loved & cared for them because they never received guardianship then given back to parents who could barely take care of themselves.

I found it entertaining and different. It reminded me of an old school spy TV show. The plot had it's moments, but it's based on a comic book that is expected. The acting I felt was really good. And I loved the costumes, sets and cinematography.

I loved the costumes and the cast. I just thought after 30 years in the making, it would have been well written. It didn't fall into all the usual stereotypes, but it was very close. I missed Lisa's sister and there was no mention on Akeem's mothers death. She had such an important role in the first one. And how in the world would the barbers still be alive and working?

Solid acting performances, but it was very nostalgic. Nothing new here. It had potential, but the plot just wasn't there. It just felt like it was missing something. They should have kept this one on the shelf.
