I tried watching this tv show many years who… couldn’t get past s1,episode 2. Today, I watched it all the way to s1, episode 8 and I’ve decided to drop it completely. It’s badly written. There isn’t too much action about the actual firefighters fighting fires or facing other challenges. It’s all about Andy bouncing between two men like a ping pong ball, and her narcissistic, toxic behaviour. It’s very cringy. Every 2/3 episodes it’s about Andy sleeping with one of the guys, and playing with their feelings. It’s not Empowering it’s just cringey and narcissistic behaviour, makes my stomach turn. While trying to normalise this behaviour in tv shows, in real life it’s one of the reasons why spouses/ partners end up in prison. Love and an idiot playing with people’s feelings, which ends up causing conflicts. To each their own, but this show is not for me. It’s extremely cringey. There is a lot of unnecessary drama. I’ve watched other similar series and this is by far the worst. Which prompted me to actually write a review. 😅
