One of the most ridiculous films ever watched. Not worth a minute of your time

Good plot but not nearly as good as Ellis where the main lead detective has far more character than the glum Dalgleish

So good to have a detective with a strong personality solving cases with intelligence without having to be dysfunctional.

Awful acting that is a very poor version of Death in Paradise

Cannot see how this film could get any high reviews. Just a Gerrard Butler ego film. First the title “Plane”. Why did they not call “Speed” “Bus” or “Baby Driver” “Car”? Ridiculous. A plot full of dreadful cliches and no one’s character was developed at all. It’s time unfortunately I will never get back!

Rather predictable plot that took elements of all it’s disaster movie predecessors - couple rebond through ordeal, lots of twists, global disaster ending in hope for the planet. Butler has to make little effort in comparison to when he is saving the US President while Baccarin just looks bewildered and her acting is a shadow of her performance in Homeland. Still it passes a few hours easily without mentioning a virus.
