Monty Griswald

AHS has been on a long decline starting with Witches. Since then, I could only watch 1-2 episodes of each season hoping to rekindle some Asylum feelings. At least, I'm giving 1984 2 stars instead of one. Mr. Jingles is a good villain and it was creepy until episode 4/5. The last few episodes were mind numbing with poor writing and bad transitions.

This movie is so awful. It's slow, nonsensical script, and bad special effects. Logically full of holes and an uninteresting monster.

Great movie on what a father will do to protect his son. The villain is extremely perverse and evil, despite his brittle frame, you genuinely fear him for his mental issues. Great acting all around.

Some good jump scares here and there. But overall a poorly put together movie. The couple is not believable and the husband seems to only come out every once in a while to prove that he is in the family. The mom has pretty lackluster acting. The young boy is pretty good though. In conclusion, okay acting and script. Terrible and predictable ending.

Margot Robbie really shined in this movie and made me a huge fan of hers. Also made me a fan of cheese sandwiches. Top notch and believable nutty acting, I enjoyed this version of Harley on her own. Although some parts were pretty corny and the woman-power/ stupid-male theme is overly done (I get it, that's what this movie is supposed to be). Overall enjoyed the script/ scenes. Action was 50/50, especially the fist fights and car chase, where the army of bad guys looked more like an army of bronies/ unhealthy potheads than meathead crooks.
