I'm absolutely in love with this series ! A few months ago, I found the book Gone in my school library and decided to give it a read and oh, boy, did I love it and want to read the whole series. Everything about the book itself was amazing, its plot, characters, beautiful cover design, and the packaging (though the cover was a little damaged). Another thing I liked about Hunger was that it gave a short recap of its prequel so I got to remember all about Gone without having to read it again. The writing was amazing; the characters now have a place in my heart and I love them. ('KINDA-SPOILER' ALERT) Michael did give me quite a scare when he almost killed off my favourite character and I was on the verge of tears but he survived so, yay ! All in all, I would absolutely recommend the Gone series to anyone who is a fan of The Maze Runner, The Hunger Games, or just the dystopian-thriller genre in general... Love ya Michael.

I am in love with this book ! It's got everything - action, thrill, adventure, romance, humor. (A few spoilers ahead) I loved the protagonist - Tella. She's a brave girl who'll do anything to protect her loved ones and does the girl have sass. I found myself cracking up on numerous occasions, reading her sarcastic narration and remarks. My favourite character was Guy. He's cold on the outside but has a big heart. It was amazing reading how he knew so much about survival and helped others to survive during the Race. The concept of the Pandoras was like a breath of fresh air in the thriller genre. Madox was simply adorable. I loved how everyone (except Titus, ofc. Poor AK-7) formed a bond with their Pandoras and cared for them as much as their Pandoras cared for their people. The action sequence between Tella and Titus in the end was thrilling to read, the reader not knowing what'll happen next. Some parts sent a chill down my spine, like when Tella discovered Dink, who's eating Jaxon's cheetah and was covered in blood. The twist when Tella, and us readers realize that Dink was Caroline's Pandora all along, was just...I have no words. Reading that part, I was like, oh right, how could I not have added two and two together ?! ("It was elementary, my dear Watson") As I said, I looooved this novel, and hopefully I'll be able to find the second one- Salt and Stone, soon as well.

I absolutely loved the series. Usually when I start watching a new drama, it gets boring and I leave it in the middle. But this show had me hooked and I just had to see the case to the end (or something like that, sorry Bukkie, I don't remember the dialogue). *Few spoilers ahead, kind of* This drama is the definition of plot twists (if you know, you know). It taught the viewers important lessons throughout its episodes while maintaining an interesting story (interesting is an understatement) and I loved that about the show. Masaki Suda's performance was amazing. I was confused, whether to hate him in one episode or love him in the other. The way he portrayed his character was just amazing, you could really see how much he wanted his students to learn to be good humans and care about whatever they say and do, and teach them lessons using the little time he had. The actors playing the students acted really well. You could see how some of them were struggling with their inner demons and learnt life lessons (sometimes the hard way) by Bukkie, how they hated him and were scared of him in the beginning, and how they later realised his true intentions and started respecting him as their teacher and caring for him. Kudos to all the actors... The last few episodes were quite emotional although the whole drama was an emotional roller coaster. I'm in love with "Mr. Hiiragi's Homeroom" and recommend it to everyone.

One of my favourite series so far. I remember watching the movies around three years ago and loving the plot, the characters, the action. I've been wanting to read the novels ever since I found out that the movies' been adapted from novels. The Maze Runner is an amazing book. There's everything - humor, thrill, friendship, scary moments, and action. It has a really cool plot, and lovable characters; especially Chuck, Newt and Minho, and some sick action and suspense. There's moments when you laugh out loud, like whild reading Minho's sassy and sarcastic remarks, and moments when you cry (a character's death although I don't wanna spoil it). The book ends perfectly, with the reader craving to learn more about what the Flare is, what'll happen to the characters now, and read in detail about WCKD's plan. Really excited to read the second book 'The Scorch Trials'. I recommend this book to every reader who loves sci-fi thrillers.

Awesome story. The adventure was very thrilling. The phony FBI agents were quite amusing. Frank and Joe's survival skills are remarkable. Detective Kitimat's character was quite impressive. The part where the Hardy Boys create a 'little' trouble for Willy and Jersey [the fake FBI agents] was hilarious. The last part where the boys couldn't believe that their father had cooked such a delicious breakfast was funny too. This book's a must-read !!!

Great story... I liked how Joe kept trying to convince Frank that ghosts do exist and how the brothers kept teasing each other throughout the book. The parts where Joe mentions that his brother has no sense of humor at all were funny. Frank and Joe make a great team. The part where they perform a séance was really exciting. But, I have a few questions regarding the story - 1. In the ATAC briefing, a cafeteria worker with a major grudge at the Undercliff is considered a suspect. But, no such worker has been mentioned in the book. 2. When everyone is talking about the ghost while sitting in the cafeteria. Robert said that he had actually seen a ghost who was bleeding and screaming but no sound was coming from his mouth. But, at the end of the story no explanation has been given for this 'ghost-sighting'.

It was a great book. I loved reading it. It's story was really interesting. A first I thought that Richard was really annoying but he proved his bravery by getting the police to that old house. When Mr Pert allowed the children to go home, I really thought they were about to be free at last but then when they were about to go, the gates closed and they were trapped yet again It's really funny how everyone thought that George was a boy. When the children [Dick, Anne, George] and Timmy hide in the secret passage with Weston [the escaped prisoner], it was really funny to read about his reaction when he saw three kids and a dog entering the secret room. The character of Hunchy was quite funny too. He kept saying rude things to the children but Julien would always say something back. The story was really exciting and thrilling. Overall, it's a must read...

This book is really interesting. Really funny too. Like when Brian Conrad [the Hardy boys' enemy] agreed with Joe for the first time and Joe thought that this was the first sign of an apocalypse or when Joe had a 'Roman-incident' [while eating a bun, Joe snorted and some of it came out of his nose] or when Joe said that he had seen Frank see the instructions to open a milk carton. It was hilarious when Joe chose a cool name for himself for the eating competition but the name that he chose for Frank was 'Frank The Vacuum Cleaner Hardy'. I couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably. It's a must read. Awesome story.

My favourite part was when the children pretend that Block is a robber and beat him up. And Timmy also bites his leg. But when Sooty's step-father asks about the leg, Sooty says that he might have bit Block ACCIDENTLY [even though he didn't] That part was hilarious. I also liked the part when Timmy came to the rescue of Uncle Quentin and Sooty when they were being kept prisoners by Mr. Barling and Block [surprise,surprise] The last part was also nice when Timmy shakes Mr. Lenoir's hand very politely and Mr. Lenoir is really surprised by this. Awesome book. The story was very interesting, exciting and thrilling. A must-read.
