I enjoyed this movie. I thought all the actors did a good job. I enjoyed watching Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt and the rest of the cast were entertaining. It sometimes feels like in these modern times, it can be hard to find light hearted action movies that are worth watching, so this movie was a pleasant surprise. My only real complaint is that some of the plot, dialogue and action is pretty unbelievable, but that's ok. This is a fun, light hearted action movie that gives an interesting fictional look behind the scenes of movie sets and stunt performers. Fun and fast paced. Good acting, good story, good action. Intelligent and interesting enough of a plot to watch untill the end. And some good romance between Ryan and Emily. Definately worth a watch if you want a fun entertaining movie that doesn't need to be taken too seriously. And it is nice that it isn't too graphically violent. Good movie!

I wanted to give this movie a slightly higher rating, but I just couldn't do it. Too much poor dialogue, at around the 1hr 20 min mark, one of the brides says to her soon to be Sister and Law and the other main Actor something like: 'If you guys F - up again today, I just bought a knife. And it's shiny and new.' So threating violence on her wedding day?! Or maybe it's a joke but still so not funny, just awkward timing and delivery. I am close to the end of the movie and so far there is just nothing that great about this movie. I feel like the writing is really lacking. I miss the romantic movies of the 80's / 90's that seemed to have that real feeling of the character's connecting. The actors do an OK job and it is cool to see Bryan Brown in a supporting role but again the characters just seem to have so little real chemistry. So basically the bad: not very good writing, doesn't feel authentic, kind of flat, I don't really care much about the characters, the leading man is often portrayed as weak, ie: can't swim far even though he is in very good shape and scared of heights. Why would you choose to make your leading male character like that!? It doesn't help the movie. And the story just moves along kind of weakly. And so on.. quite bland. But there is some good here: the movie is still watchable if you don't expect too much. It has a lot of nice scenery and the camera work is well done. And the actors are somewhat decent, I mostly blame the writing. So if you can watch this movie for free, go for it! It just makes me miss those 80's/ 90's/ 2000 movies that had a lot more heart and way better stories and dialogue.

I have been watching movies since the 80's and I don't think that I have ever experienced a movie like Dune 2. It has amazing visuals and effects through out the movie. And I don't mean just meaningless special effects. The whole movie was incredible. Kind of like a journey to a different planet. Which I guess it was, to : Dune (Arakis). And things I had never seen before, Spoiler alert! : Giant Sandworms and Space ships that were amazing to look at. And exciting battle scenes. The CGI works very well. The acting and characters were all amazing too. The story was cool. Everything and everyone in the movie seemed to do a good job. And congrats to the Director! An absolutely fantastic movie! The only negative thing I can really say about the movie, is that it has some very dark characters and some violent and disturbing scenes. I would not recomend children to watch this movie. It's not a movie for the faint of heart! Over all one of the most amazing films that I have ever seen!!

I really enjoyed this movie! Yes, it is silly and some of the characters are annoying. But overall it is excellent if you are in the mood to escape from reality and enjoy some low brow comedy. It is packed full of funny jokes, pranks, one liners, and comedic characters. I've never been a Rob Schneider fan, but I really liked him in this movie and seeing David Spade along side Napolean Dynamite actor is good fun. And I enjoyed Jon Lovitz as a billionaire. And the actress's that played the character's wife and girlfriends were very good too! So for a sports comedy with some well known early 2000 actors, this movie is a great one to watch! As long as you can enjoy some tom foolery. I liked how it was fast paced with a lot of comedy, so even if you don't like one joke there is another funny line or situation happening right away!

I was not impressed by this movie. I didn't expect too much from it going in, but even with quite low expectations I was disapointed. It might be the first movie that I have ever left the theatre early and not stuck around to watch the end. I guess I just didn't believe or care about any of the characters. I didn't find much or any of it funny or comical. And most of the dialogue just felt sort of scripted and unnatural. The actors / actresses themselves were OK, I just couldn't really get involved or enjoy much of what they did or said. I don't think that this movie is targeted towards people with a certain level of intelligence or good taste in cinema. Having said that, if you just want something to watch for mindless entertainment it might be barely acceptable. The camera work and the scenery was sometimes pleasant to watch. Though there is one violent scene early on in the movie that I do not think is suitable for younger children. So, overall I found it to be quite a terrible movie and maybe a sad testiment to the state of what passes for entertainment in todays world. I would recomend using the money from the price of the ticket for something else, almost anything else.

I was expecting a thriller with a story that made some amount of sense. Instead I got a big waste of time. I kept waiting for the movie to get better but it just gets worse. It is a bit creepy and suspenseful but overall probably one of my least favorite movies in recent memory. I am quite surprised the critics like this movie so much. And the ending is very disapointing. I recomend watching almost anything else.
