I'm going to toot my own horn, and say I always had faith in this show as it was airing and I didn't quite understand why it didn't get the recognition or popularity it deserved at the time. It seems now more people are learning about it, which is a shame because it really took this long???
Each week after coming home from high school, I would immediately sit down and watch the new episode that had aired the night before on Comcast/On Demand.
I am now 24 years old, and my heart still aches. I wish they could come back with a 5th season, it had so much more potential.
The show gets into depth with the three main characters, each having a complex and intense story of their own. I felt like I was actually friends with Aidan, Josh, and Sally and towards the end Norah gained a spot in my heart as well. This show was part of my normal routine from Freshmen-Senior. (Getting personal here I know, again my heart has never stopped aching.)
As well as me being very engaged in the show, it appeared to me that even the relationships with the cast themselves seemed very sincere, and the vibrancy of their relationships took an affect in how they portrayed their characters. In my own personal opinion they were casted perfectly.
They brought to life an action packed driven show that had many of it's sweet and humorous moments. A lot of dry/dark humor, which tickles my fancy. Touched on many mythical subjects/topics, and put their own twist on things, and the horror is great.
I hadn't heard anything more from Sam Witwer (Or from any of the casts), until Days Gone for the PS4. I walked into my roommate's room thinking he decided to give Being Human a chance, and alas my sweet sweet Aidan has been promoted to killing zombies now. It brings a tear to my eye.
This show will always have a place in my heart, and to anyone reading this review. You will not regret giving this show a chance.
