If i can convince just one person not to waste a whole evening watching this depressing rubbish i will have felt it worthwhile to have written this review. We are told the film is about an alcoholic woman moving from London to the Orkneys and that is just about everything that happens in the film. If you suffer in anyway from depression i heartily advise you not to go and waste your money on this. If you like to go to the movies to be transported away from reality and enter new realms dont go and see this. It is far beyond me to see how anyone comes away from this movie inspired and feeling like they have had a major experience but no doubt there will be oscars. I had hoped for some wonderful backdrops of the Orkneys but sadly the director managed to make these wonderful islands depressing as well.
