If you have someone close to you who has been addicted, don’t bother watching. Very depressing & gives one a feeling of hopelessness. It doesn’t phase me that the protagonist is at Yale. The relationship with his family is where it sits. The fact that he thinks he’s moved on, then gets sucked in once again tells me he’s not a character of real substance. In real life families get so exhausted from addicts, they don’t want to watch it anymore. You know about diarrhea & vomit but doesn’t mean you want to watch it!
