The game is enjoyable with ok gameplay, average visuals, and ongoing updates to include new features.
The gameplay is mediocre at best without the story, featuring repetitiveness and lacking any additional elements. You are encountering the same adversaries as in the campaign. Veterans of the game may be surprised by adding additional enemies and Justice League members. New mechanics could be introduced instead of just counter shots or shield harvesting, but that's my final thoughts on gameplay.
The visuals are the simple new gem graphics that crash while I play on Xbox Series S, needing to be fixed. This may not affect PC players though.
The new characters and added storyline in the updates are decent, but they don't do much to maintain my interest in the game besides unlocking the new characters.
And for those attempting to compare the Batman games with this game, it's important to understand that they are two different games. It's like comparing a first-person shooter game to a farming simulation game – they are not similar and are very distinct from each other.
