I was really hopeful when Harry and Meghan were engaged. I was hoping that the royal family would be accepting and colorblind. I also hoped that Meg would show the UK that Americans were smart and elegant and worthy after the likes of the Duchess of Windsor who ruined our reputation for decades. Instead they shocked me when they claimed racism and hatred. I was either blind or never saw this, was proud how Meghan was setting an example to the world that Americans were not outspoken rubes. Well... that went down the tubes quickly. It would not have been so bad had they not continued to make money off the WOO IS ME narrative.. interviews, now this Netflix series and next "Spare". If you really think you were victimized, then stop making money off of these interviews and articles. Give it all to charity to build BRIDGES between the races and not feed the fire of hatred and racism over and over again. Meghan, I really really hoped that you would change all this, but nope, nope nope nope.
