It was a good movie that depicted the pressure that occurs among teens around their day of Bar Mitzvah.
It depicted the Jewish tradition and how Jewish teens handle it.
The main character was a teenage girl called Stacey, who had a best friend named Lydia. Both girls have dreamed of and planned their perfect Bat Mitzvah.
Stacey had a crush on a guy but, unknowing to her, so did every girl who attended the same Jewish school with them. Her crush made her have some unpleasant scenes with her childhood best friend who ended up dating her crush just to make her angry. The tragic events led to a huge misunderstanding and Stacey ruining her best friend's Bar Mitzvah, leading to a crack in thei= friendsi}
The movie ended up peacefully as the girls made up when Stacey gave up her Bat Mitzvah so that Lydia could have her perfect bat mitzvah party.
Things I liked about the movie:
1. It was interesting to watch
2. Able to watch some Jewish tradition and culture
Things I didn't like about the movie:
1. Poor knowledge of God, although they were Jewish. The teachers, parents even the main character didn't understand some basic things about God. She only knew God as One that knows everything
2. Used curse words and Jesus' name in vain.
3. Secular Music
4. Teenagers corrupt nature; orgy, kissing
5. Showed things that are not meant to be seen like used sanitary p.
6. How God was depicted
