This film has terrible reviews. While I understand where folks are coming from, I would beg to differ. I thought the film succeeded in keeping me guessing what was real and what was not. I was in the head of the main character oscillating between reality and psychosis. If the movie is viewed from that vantage point, it will be a pleasure to watch. This is definitely a slow burn. In the end, I still didn't know if it was real or not. I chalked it up to being in a never-ending loop of trauma. She never quite "made it out."

Incredible acting! I am a huge horror fan. This movie did alright on the terror front; however, this film is for those into horror AND salvation. Usually, Catholicism rules the exorcism realm. This film showed an evangelical side that you don't often see in films. I have not cried during a horror film since El Orfanato (The Orphanage with Executive Producer Guillermo del Toro). I did cry with this one because the horrific goes beyond exorcism--horror is also poverty, generational trauma, mother/daughter complexities, and so much more. Those complexities are what made me appreciate the film rather than only scoring it on jump scares and demonic possession. I recommend it! Don't miss out on this fantastic film. Give it a try and make your own assessment.

It was a great film. After watching it, I wanted to know more about Irish lore. The actors were great. While the movie was somewhat predictable, it was worth the watch. Ishana did a great job. I'm looking forward to more of her films.

Excellent film. Multiverse, grief, regenerative relations. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The actors and actresses were all impeccable.

Brilliant film. For fans of stop motion and maternal horror. For fans of Frankenstein (Mary Shelley's), Lady Lazarus (Sylvia Plath), and horror lit. The "slow" is part of the aesthetic, as stop motion is rarely "fast." If you enjoyed any Tim Burton claymation, you may enjoy this movie. It takes critical thinking skills. Don't watch it if you need a jump scare.
