The disconnect between the opinions of real audiences and self-righteous critics is no more obvious than it is with the movie Midway. For an independent film it holds itself up there with the likes of the latest Star Wars movies in terms of effects and battle scene flow. The attention to detail in the first twenty minutes of the film is a precursor to the amazing experience that history nuts will get from watching this film. There are slight issues that film industry insiders will see, but to be honest I don’t care, their opinions irrelevant to real people. You’ll love this flick.
