What makes this album so enticing is the range of musical interpretations. The album isn't fixated on what might be the standard jazz treatment. There's instrumental and vocal versions interspersed throughout the album.
As a huge Pink Floyd fan, I can't see how anyone could fault the level of musicianship displayed on this album.
Having just listened to Roger Waters DSOTM Redux album, I think Roger would have benefitted from listening to the approach taken on this album.
