Amazing. Sometimes I will knock out a book in just two or three days. Not this one. I savored it. Currently I am staying by the Black Sea. I would read some, then think about it for a few days. Let the pieces fall in place. The story brewed in my mind. This was a very rich couple of weeks following the life of this woman from post war till the today. Incredible work of fiction weaved around factual history. Has to be read till the end. How many amazingly brave people lived lives like this that we will never know about. Couldn't help shed a tear at the last couple pages.Wow...
