Honestly, a breathtaking movie. It feels as though entirely new life has been breathed into the monster movie genre. Yes the acting by one of the side characters was somewhat flat, and the story developed and unfolded in a strange pace; but there was truly no other way this story could be told. Count Orloc's tale and legend is not that of Dracula, it is not just a simple vampire in a castle. The ups and downs, the lore and background, all of this was necessary to produce the truly beautiful cacophony that was Nosferatu. This is a must watch for any monster movie fan, for any one who finds themselves drawn to the occult, more inclined to the unseen and spooky.
