Nothing too terribly unique as far as storytelling. A female revenge story. Acting is good and so is direction. It’s missing an edge in writing that’s all.

I can’t get past the terrible acting by the young couple in episode 1 and just god awful sound design. So distracting. The voice over is pretentious. I don’t think I can finish episode 1…(update episode 3) ok I finished episode one and I’m somewhat enjoying the poetic storytelling but the young man’s (who gets killed) acting and the whole seduction scene feels like a 12 year old directed it.

I’ve seen this movie before many times. Not much more but exploitation of young people on screen.

Fantastic as always. She hasn't lost a beat! You have to be someone who identifies with her comedy, but when you do, it is so cathartic.

This is an important movie. it's important we see the reality of the islamic oppression upon women and other minorities. The movies has a good pace and the acting is superb. But most importantly, it tells a true story of unimaginable oppression and horror and religious despotism!

So much of this movie feels like b-roll. Story doesn't splice up very well. It's all carried on Michael Fassbender's shoulders, and he is great as usual. The directing however, and yes, it's David Fincher and all, but it feels very juvenile.

Ummmm weird vibe, lady host wouldn't stop stroking her necklace for the first 10min. I would had left immediately.

This movie is nothing more than showcasing Jennifer Lawrence in tiny outfits. Male gaze cringe fest.

it might just be my favorite Anderson movie. Or perhaps the timing was right. But it is always the case of his movies. This one had the perfect equation of satire, humor, genuine emotion, depth, style and self-awareness. It had me equally laughing and appreciating the depth of the shallow-seeming dialogue.

A cliche melodrama with bad acting.
