I loved the original since it first came out. I was very, very worried when they said they were making a second one. I was wrong and it was a very entertaining movie. It had plenty of call backs, but they were good. The movie stood on its own and didn't rely on them. Had just as much heart in the second one. Adam being a better dramatic actor gave it the little push it needed.
