It is slow in some areas, if you can get through them in the early season 1 and parts of 2, you will find that you will very much enjoy this show, and be glued to your seat in some scenes in the first 2 seasons that make you wonder if there may be something to better to watch, but I find each time U go to watch something else… I come back to the show, similar to the thrill and getting through the slow parts in the TV series Lost, gives kind of the same feelings and vibes… Totally different scenarios, but wildly similar as far as good vs. evil!
