I saw the trailer and couldn't wait for the show. I love Helen Mirren and thought it would be a quality show. Her narrative portions were great, what I expected, but the voices and conversations of the animals were ridiculous, surely not funny, not informative, a waste of time. Applying human personalities and actions to animals doesn't work. The monkey using tools could have been really interesting, but it was ruined by corny jokes and dialogue. So disappointing, had they had Helen Mirren just narrate facts about the animals, their personalities and actions it would have been a show I would watch. Not surprised this won't have a second season.
