I like this TV programme very much because it has so many things going for it, especially Carol's and Michel's eagerness to share their home and extensive garden with us. Their enthusiasm for everything is so much part of the programme.
The photography of the surrounding picturesque scenery, the sun, the sand, the sea, certainly make it watchable too, especially as we here, in England, are approaching winter.
If I may also mention something which is nothing really to do with publicity but, to me, is such a coincidence. Watching the programme on 7 November, Carol said she was going to Cassis. This made my ears prick up because I remember reading about this town in her book, The House on the Edge of the Cliff. Then, when she boarded a boat and went around the Cassis harbour, she mentioned this book and how some of it was set around the cliffs. My reading so far had taken me to Page 130 - 1968 The May Riots so I am now more eager to carry on reading the book and to get more involved in the story.
I have also recently read The Lost Girl which I also enjoyed.
Carry on the good work, Carol!!
