First I’d like to thank Seth The Gamer for his review/comment. Initially I read several reviews from well known movie critics and I wasn’t going to waste my time. After reading your comment I realized that I rarely agree with movie critics and decided to give the movie a chance. Primarily because I love Will Smith and I can’t think of a movie he was in that I didn’t like. The movie grabs your attention from the very first scene on the train. Although it is categorized as Sci-Fi it does not have a Sci-Fi feel. I found the characters extremely relatable and I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. I’d recommend this movie to anyone interested in action or drama films.

I love this show! Someone else said the music didn’t mesh well with the show. I completely disagree. I think the music gets you hype and puts you on the edge of your seat. I also think by using updated music they’re able to reach the generation who wouldn’t otherwise watch a show based on historical events. It’s important that our younger generation sees the horror that slavery brought to this country. The show is very well written. I’m on Season 2 and I can’t stop watching. It’s so emotional.
